Read Matthew 5-8
There are many seminars, conferences and classes available these days to help us improve pretty much everything in our lives. With fancy slides, videos and books we are given the 5 steps to improving “x” or “y”. To think of how much information and advice is floating around in the “technology cloud” is staggering as well!
Yet just over 2,000 years ago, a man from a hole-in-the-wall town would come on the scene and blow the socks off Israel. Crowds were teaming around him trying to figure out what this man was all about. The book of Matthew, chapters 5 through 7 gives us the most powerful seminar that the world has ever known.
Soak in the wisdom and holy direction that the Messiah provides in these chapters. Be challenged and humbled with what the Almighty God of the universe has to say. Surrender your will and life to the one who can make it whole and glorifying to your Creator.
